CGM and its partner organizations advocate for results-based financing, which increases the efficacy and transparency of impact-focused giving. Current approaches often fail to produce meaningful outcomes, and the popular perception of best practices must change if investors seek to make actual change in the future.

Our initial reaction was likely not, but after the recent OECD Global Action Summit on advancing the Social and Solidarity Economy, we’re optimistic. We had the chance to attend and speak at the conference, particularly on a panel about the importance of impact measurement and results based financing.
